Our Doctors
Dr. Matthew Puzio, the son of founder Dr. Frank Puzio, joined the practice in 2006. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Assumption College and his Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Dr. Matthew completed post-doctorate fellowships in contact lenses, vision therapy and sports vision. He specializes in advanced contact lens fitting, dry eye management, and vision therapy.
He stays on the forefront of the most current trends in eye care and is always looking for ways to improve the practice: clinically, technically and through process improvement.
Dr. Matthew Puzio maintains active memberships in the American Optometric Association, Massachusetts Optometric Association, and is president of the Cape Cod Eye Care Associates.
He is a member of Practice Management Associates, a select group of 12 progressive optometric practices from across the country who meet regularly to share practice improvement ideas, and to help develop new products and services for ophthalmic companies.
He currently resides in Dennis with his wife Meredith, daughters Leighton and Hadley and their dog Marley. Personal interests include bike riding, running, and golf.
Dr. Elizabeth “Liz” Potvin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and pre-medicine from the College of the Holy Cross and her Doctor of Optometry degree from MCPHS University. Dr. Liz has completed clinical rotations with emphases in ocular disease, vision therapy, and pediatric low vision at multiple locations throughout New England, including time at the Veterans Affairs.
As an active member of the American Optometric Association, Dr. Potvin presented at the 2018 Optometry’s Meeting. She belongs to the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists, through which she received the 2016 Mass Vision Foundation Award, recognizing optometric leadership in the commonwealth.
Dr. Potvin is also a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.
Dr. Liz has a special interest in pediatrics and stays current in pediatric research and vision therapy techniques as a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
She also specializes as an InfantSEE provider, signifying involvement in a public health program promoting equal access to vision care for all infants.
Personal interests include running, kayaking, and reading.
